  • The scraper must actually be yours. Buying one just to destroy it defeats the entire point.
  • By sending us your video, you give us permission to use it for our website, social media, advertising, packaging, and other marketing. You still own the video. We just get to put it to work.
  • Only send videos you filmed yourself. Anyone who can be recognized in the video must be okay with us using it too.

One last thing: please break it outside, on the ground, with eye protection and nobody standing nearby. Cheap plastic has a surprisingly violent retirement plan.

Will it scratch my windshield?
No. It's made to scrape ice, not your windshield. The polycarbonate blade is tough on ice and safe on automotive glass.
It looks like a ski. Is it actually a ski?
It is an ice scraper shaped like a ski, at roughly a fifth of the length. Do not attempt to descend anything on it.
How long is it?
About 20 inches end to end. Long enough to reach across your windshield, but compact enough to keep in your car, on the dashboard, or under your seat.
What happens when the edge wears down?
It takes a long time to wear down. When it does, just unclip it and clip on a new one. You can even sharpen the edge yourself with your fingernail to keep it going. Replacement blades are available in packs of 3 or 5. This will last over 20 winters!
Does it work on a frozen-solid windshield, or just snow?
Both. It clears snow and breaks through hard ice. The Ski Scraper is built to handle whatever winter throws at your windshield.
Why does it cost more than the one at the gas station?
Because you buy it once. Cheap scrapers are made to be cheap. The Ski Scraper is built to last for years, with a replaceable blade when you need it.
Do you actually hate ordinary ice scrapers?
We hate that they are designed to be replaced. Cheap is not the problem. Disposable is.
Where is it made?
Made in the United States, in Denver, Colorado. Built by the mountains, for the mountains, by skiers who know what a real winter looks like.
