It started 20 years ago.
My Uncle Dan had the brilliant idea to turn real skis into ice scrapers. People loved them.
But skis changed. They got wider, and the original scrapers became harder to hold and use. The design needed to evolve, but the idea was too good to leave behind.

That's when I took a chance.
I was a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder. I probably could have focused a little more on school, but I wanted to take a chance on something I had loved since I was a kid. The Ski Scraper was the Christmas present I always looked forward to getting.
I saw the potential in it, so I bought the concept from my Uncle Dan and decided to give it a new life. A better design. Better materials. A better way to make it.
I had no idea where it would go. I just knew it was worth a shot.

Then we took it to Kickstarter.
In February 2025, after months of designing, testing, and refining, the first Ski Scraper was ready. We launched it on Kickstarter with one goal: $11,000. We hit it in just 30 days.
More than 500 people backed the idea through Kickstarter, Venmo, and good old fashioned cash. They took a chance on us before there was even a Ski Scraper to hold. That support gave us the chance to build the first production mold and turn the idea into a real product.
By August 2025, we had our first Ski Scrapers in hand and sent one to every backer who helped make it happen.

And that brings us to today.
After getting tons of feedback from the Kickstarter launch, we went back to the drawing board and redesigned the Ski Scraper into what it is today. We made it longer, almost 20 inches, so you can reach across the windshield without stretching.
We added a blade inspired by the mountains we ski, and made it completely swappable. So you can customize your Ski Scraper and replace the blade when it finally needs one. And we built it with the same kind of tough materials you'll find in your skis. It's made for winter. It's made to take a beating. And it's made to last.
The new Ski Scraper launches this winter, 2026. But this is just the beginning. Let's see where the snow takes us.
